Apartment building Beilen

Commissioned by Ontwikkelingsmaatschappij ‘de Wever’  B+O Architecten designed the ‘de Wever’ building in the Beilen city centre. This has resulted in an apartment building for several target groups at a beautiful location.

The main challenge was to give the building an appearance that fits a central location, but also characterises the appearance of Beilen. Therefore, the ‘de Wever’ architecture is mainly modern and pure. The apartments have been housed in various building volumes, all of which have been situated on a robust plinth. Thanks to the architectural design, the use of different colours of masonry and the staggering of the building volumes, the building is always experienced in a different way from different viewpoints.

The complex consists of 32 apartments, 21 of which are spacious starter apartments, in addition to 6 luxury apartments and 2 large penthouses. Commercial spaces can be found on the ground floor. Underneath the building, there is a parking garage and storage spaces for the residents. The apartments are spacious, offer a lot of light and all have a spacious balcony or indoor balcony. Every apartment opens onto a gallery, giving access to the main staircase with a spacious lift.
