Care apartments De Herbergier

In Harlingen, a historic school building from the beginning of the last century has been converted into a Herbergier. The Herbergier is intended for people with memory problems who can no longer live independently. The school in Harlingen has been completely renovated and extended on both sides of the building. The facade has remained intact. Dormer windows have also been added to provide care apartments on the attic floor.

The extension on one side of the building is intended for the private living space of the care entrepreneurs. The extension on the other side offers space for the common living and dining room. A sitting room / bedroom has been realized in every former classroom. The Herbergier offers accommodation to around 16 clients.
