Muggenbeet House

In the Muggenbeet neighbourhood near Blokzijl, situated in the Weerribben-Wieden national park, a holiday home from the ’60s has been thoroughly remodelled and completely modernised after a design by B+O Architecten. For example, the building has been expanded so that the bedrooms have become larger and each bedroom now has a private bathroom. Furthermore, the entire house has been insulated and the façade has been covered with black-stained wooden parts. The balcony has also been renewed and expanded. As a result, the house now has a Scandinavian appearance, while remaining true to its original characteristics.
