Patio house De Wijk
This patio house roughly consists of two volumes: an oblong volume placed parallel to the road, in which the entrance, the kitchen, living room and the study are situated. On top of this, but at a right angle, is also an oblong volume with a remarkably rounded roof slope, containing the bedrooms and bathroom.
The rhythm and the materials of the villa are meticulous and understated, as well as consistently maintained throughout the design of the house; from the tasteful façades and the subdued courtyard to the interior. The design of the house has a feel for the contemporary architecture climate.
