Where Will You Work?
As a Spatial Planning Advisor, you will be part of the integrated urban design team at our Meppel office. We are a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and multidisciplinary urban design and architectural firm with extensive expertise across various disciplines of architecture and urban planning. In this role, you will work from our office in Meppel. Our location is in the Gasfabriek, within walking distance of Meppel train station.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Preparing and guiding concept applications, motivations, environmental plans, and participation plans.
- Advising on legal-planning instruments, procedures, and timelines.
- Managing processes for private clients, commercial clients, and municipalities.
- Consulting and coordinating with competent authorities such as governments and environmental agencies.
- Coordinating environmental and spatial studies, such as those related to noise, ecology, archaeology, water, climate adaptation, and mobility.
- Guiding participation processes, including conducting environmental dialogues with stakeholders.
Candidate Profile:
- A relevant HBO (Higher Professional Education) or university degree.
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Affinity with urban planning and architecture is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Client-oriented mindset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative approach.
- Professional Dutch writing and speaking skills.
- Solution-oriented thinking.
- Proactive and accurate.
- Eager to learn and determined to fully develop your talents.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Candidate Profile:
